ALL FLOAT GLASS
Standard window glass, also called Float glass.
We stock from 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and up.
Popular for kitchen cabinets is the 3mm for cupboard doors and the 6mm for shelves.
For table tops with a solid base, at a medium size you can use 6mm or 8mm float as well.
LAMINATED SAFETY GLASS
Always safe and secure.
By law it is required that sliding doors have to have safety glass installed. Popular for this is 6.38mm & 8.38mm PVB. On impact this glass does break, but is kept together by a clear laminate layered between the double glass panels.
TOUGHENED GLASS
Going through the fire makes us stronger.
The most popular uses for this type of glass is for unsupported table tops and showers. The toughening process gives the glass much more strength and when this glass break it shatters into small blocks. These blocks are much safer.
